REGISTRATION AND TUITION FEES FOR 2013
TOTAL COST OF COURSE
The total cost of BELLA DONNA’s Refinement Course (one year full time study) amounts to R25 500 for the year.
The amount is divided as follows:
A non-refundable registration fee of R6500. A student is officially registered at the school once we have received her Registration form and registration fee. Registration closes 5 January 2013. To avoid disappointment, successful applicants are encouraged to register as soon as possible to ensure their admittance to the school. BELLA DONNA limits entry to the school to ten students and we cannot guarantee a student will be admitted to the school if he or she registers late.
Tuition fees of R19000 which is payable in equal instalments of R1900.00 per month over 10 months from February – November.
WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE FEES?
The fees of the course are all inclusive and cover the following:
- Tuition: top quality tuition in a wide spectrum of areas by qualified lecturers – experts in their own fields.
- Camps: All meals, accommodation, recreation and traveling expenses of the camps
- Theoretical course materials: all the theoretical course materials such as study guides, books, CD’s and handouts
- Practical course materials: most practical materials, such as most of the foods, wine, first aid, herbs, safety and self-defence.
- One on one wellness counseling: students’ well-being is monitored throughout the year and one-on-one problem solving or counseling sessions are facilitated when needed.
WHAT IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE FEES?
Boarding: The course fee does not include board and lodging related fees for the year, however accommodation is provided by the school – sharing accommodation R1500 per person sharing x 10 months (Feb to Nov) and single accommodation R1800 per person x 10 months (Feb to Nov).
Meals: The school teaches the young ladies how to cook for themselves and how to sustain themselves – however they need to purchase their own groceries from the nearby supermarket or bring from home.
Farewell Party: BELLA DONNA’s farewell party takes place at an impressive venue and takes the form of a sit down dinner and certification ceremony. The school partially subsidises the event but the students are required to pay R100 towards the event. All parents to pay for their own meals at R150 per head.
DISCOUNT FOR FULL PAYMENT OF TUITION FEES BEFORE 30 JANUARY 2013
A 7.5% discount on tuition fees (R1425.00) is given if paid in full on or before 30 January 2013.
EARNING MONEY
BELLA DONNA students are encouraged to find suitable part-time employment in Hogsback at either one of the hotels, restaurants or eateries. In this way students earn extra money to spend, to save or to use for luxuries and incidentals.
BELLA DONNA also encourages the young ladies to work on craft projects to sell at the local craft stalls to bring in extra pocket money.
INTERNSHIP
All students will be placed in various businesses eg hotels, event planners, wedding planners etc, for a period of a week at a time to gain practical experience.
